Common Ground Ministries is a Christian outreach to children and youth in Waxahachie, Texas. Our mission is to provide a safe and structured environment for children and youth to meet their spiritual, educational and physical needs. This work began in 1991. Our facility at 604 E. Parks Ave. is just off Kaufman. Office hours are 10:00am – 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
When students arrive from school they first have a nutritious snack and then a supervised homework period. Then they receive instruction and take part in indoor or outdoor recreational activities. Volunteer tutors work with individual students. We are ALWAYS needing volunteers…please come see our facility and meet the wonderful children that attend daily! Come be a blessing & in return YOU will be blessed!! We have various ways for you to volunteer! Each of us are gifted in specific areas! Whatever your gift…YOU are needed and we have a place for you!
